Long Island’s Pete Sell Returns To Octagon At UFC 90

Matt Serra broke the news to TriStateFighter.com first on Wednesday that his fighter, Pete Sell, will return to the octagon on October 25th to face Josh Burkman at UFC 90. Sell has a 7-4 record but is coming off losses to Nate Quarry at UFC Fight Night 11 and Thales Leites at UFC 69. Click through for more.

TriStateFighter.com MMA Fight Card Notice: United States Fight League in September

The Connecticut based United States Fight League will be back in action September 13th at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino with another great night of fights. Rising Tri-State fighters Josh Diekmann and Anderw Caron will be in action. The doors open at 6:30 and ticket prices start at $45. Where To Watch MMA In The Tri-State: Location #1

It has become easier and easier to find quality MMA on TV in the past year. We have WEC on Versus, Fight Night shows on Spike, and a good variety of events on HDNets. But, the cream of the crop still only fight on PPV events be it GSP, Chuck, and BJ in the UFC or now Fedor with Affliction. So - it costs a few dimes to pick up these PPV events at home. Luckily, more and more bars and restaurants in the Tri-State are featuring MMA events, albeit with a cover charge. Click through to see our first featured location.

UFC Billboard Back In Times Square … But Now Has A Neighbor

The UFC once again dominates the landscape at 45th street in Times Square. GSP Vs. Fitch and Lesnar Vs. Herring get co-billing on this massive billboard. While the UFC has traditionally owned the MMA marketing space in Times Square they have recently been joined by a huge Affliction promotional billboard for their recent event just blocks away.
